Emerging Leaders applications for Spring 2018 will open February 5, 2018!

The Emerging Leaders program is an exciting and engaging leadership introductory and development program designed for first-year students and others seeking to develop their leadership skills. This six-week program provides students a chance to meet new people, explore new ideas, and become more involved in university-wide leadership opportunities including student government, student organization officer positions, residence hall leadership, and student mentors positions. The Emerging Leaders program is open to all first-year students, but sophomores are encouraged to apply and will be reviewed and considered for acceptance into the program by the Emerging Leaders staff on a case-by-case basis.

The Fall 2018 semester will host  sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday from  4:00pm-5:30pm.

Week 4:  Ethics & Application of Leadership Principles
Week 5: Professionalism & Application

Undergraduate mentor applicants will sign up for an individual interview (found on their application) and all selected mentors will be required to attend one of our group training meetings prior to the start of the Emerging Leaders program (see dates below).

Emerging Leaders Mentor Interview - January 29 th through  February 1st, 2018
Emerging Leaders Mentor Training- February 6 or 7, 13 or 14, or 20 or 21, 2018 (depends on mentor assignment)
