By learning how to budget properly and finding ways to save early in your college career, you can ensure that you have the means to enjoy fun activities with friends, treat yourself to a nice meal, or save for a rainy day.
1. Stick to a budget.
College is one of the most exciting times in a person’s life, but it can also be stressful when it comes to finances. By creating a budget, limiting spending on excessive items, and keeping an ongoing record of financial activities you can make sure you have that extra money for Maxines on a Friday night or Starbucks before your 3 hour lecture. Also, by growing your financial awareness in college you will be much more prepared for post-grad life.

2. On-Campus Jobs.
On-Campus jobs are fun and amazing ways to earn money, network and form long lasting relationships. Positions on-campus means less of a commute and more flexibility when it comes to your working hours.

3. Student Discounts.
Student Discounts are one of the best perks of being a college student. Since you will only be able to take advantage of all of these discounts for a short period, research stores and services you use regularly to see if they offer any discount or perks for college students. A few popular ones to be aware of include Prime Student, Hulu, Spotify Premium Student Package, and Apple Education funding.
