The University of Arkansas recognizes that a positive, engaging first year can make a significant impact in terms of incoming students’ level of academic performance, campus involvement and progress toward graduation. The University of Arkansas faculty and student affairs professionals work together to offer special assistance and promote skills designed to help students experience a fulfilling, rewarding, and successful first year at the University. All programs and initiatives are designed to assist students in reaching their ultimate goal of completing a degree.
