1. Buy a calendar and/or planner.

2. Learn the Old Main Oath.
The Old Main Oath was adopted by students in 2015 to define our common values as members of the Razorback community.

3. Participate in Hog W.I.L.D. Welcome Weeks activities.
Every semester the University of Arkansas and Fayetteville community join together to welcome new and returning students to campus. You are invited to participate in a wide variety of events that have all kinds of FREE stuff! Activities start on Monday, August 14th and continue until the first Razorback Football game. 4. Pick up your Class of 2021 t-shirt.
We are excited to welcome you as a member of the Class of 2021. Pick-up your free Class of 2012 T-shirt Monday, August 14th – Friday, August 18th in the New Student & Family Programs office (located in the Union above the Living Room Computer Lab). Make sure to wear your t-shirt to New Student Welcome on Sunday, August 20th.

5. Purchase your textbooks.
Check out the University of Arkansas Bookstore Midday Madness event. A 10% discount is applied to in-store textbook purchases the day before fall and spring semester classes start. The Midday Madness discount cannot be applied to purchases made through our website.

6. Explore Blackboard.
Blackboard is where you will be able to find details about all of your classes. This online program will contain links for each of your classes, copies of course syllabi, and many other tools that your instructors will discuss in class. Sign in to Blackboard with your University of Arkansas credentials (UARK email and password).

7. Attend New Student Welcome.
New Student Welcome serves as the official welcome for new students at the University of Arkansas. The event will take place on Sunday, August 20th @ 5:30 PM on the Arkansas Union Mall. Make sure to wear your Class of 2021 T-shirt!

8. Print out your class schedule and learn the campus.
The University of Arkansas campus is very big. Make sure to print out a copy of your class schedule before the first day of classes. Click the link below to learn where each of your buildings are located.
